$40.00 at the door

Come join us for some boot stompin fun at the 2nd Annual Bloom 'n Beef Benefit Dinner on Saturday, April 28th starting at 5:00PM at the Wasco County Fairgrounds, Hunt Park Commercial Building. Top-40 country music artist, singer/ songwriter Joni Harms, and up-and-coming country music artist Olivia Harms Wicham will delight and entertain audience members young and old with their captivating country sound at this outstanding event.

The Bloom 'n Beef is a celebration of the rich history of farming and ranching in Wasco County.  It is hosted by the SWC PTO, a grassroots, independent, 501(c)3, educational, non-profit organization.  Proceeds from this event support the education of our students in South Wasco County.  This year our focus is on raising funds to maintain and grow our music program with musical instruments.

At the Bloom 'n Beef, you will enjoy an all you can eat prime rib dinner with all the trimmings, served by Rod McGuire of Paradise Rose Chuckwagon and Sandy Cobb of Molly B's Diner, with prime rib donated by Kramer's Market.

When you get there, enjoy a beverage, nibble on some buttery popcorn, crack open some delicious peanuts and throw the shells on the floor while you: peruse the Youth Art Show put together by SWC Teacher Marni Malefyt; capture a memory in the Western Photo Corral brought to you by SWC Photographer Joy Reyneke; and venture to ride the mechanical bull, hosted by Events Unlimited.

This year's musical entertainment also includes opening acts by local artist Jeff Hoover, and then a few SWC students whose raw talents have only continued to blossom under the musical direction of the SWC Music Program lead by Mic Kelly.

Entertainment is included in your ticket price!  To raise funds the SWC PTO will also host:  an all-out-fun, oral dessert auction with scrumptious, eye catching desserts crafted by local artisans, with a few special twists to entice the palette and enhance the value; a Charity Raffle that will have the cows in the barn talking; and a Silent Auction that will surely have your chickens laying eggs.

You can buy tickets to the Bloom 'n Beef Benefit Dinner at your local SWC stores, Kramer's Market in Dufur, Klindt's Bookstore in The Dalles, and online through the South Wasco County Parent Teacher Organization's business page on Facebook.  You can also purchase advance raffle tickets for the Charity Raffle through our Facebook page, and you do not need to be present to win the charity raffles.

Live outside the South Wasco County area?  Come for the Bloom 'n Beef, stay for the unique South Wasco County experience!  South Wasco County offers lodging and accommodations including:  The Imperial Hotel; The River Run Lodge; Oasis Campground and Resort; Deschutes Motel; Hunt Park Campground; and Pine Hollow Resort Campground.  We also have white water rafting and fishing on the Deschutes and fishing at Pine Hollow Resort.

Please come be a part of our community of support for education at the Bloom 'n Beef Benefit Dinner again this year as we continue to grow the music program you helped build!  Thank you for your support and we look forward to seeing you at the 2nd Annual Bloom 'n Beef Benefit Dinner on Saturday, April 28!
